There are many great lunch spots in Winston-Salem where you can have delicious food for lunch when you are exploring the city.

Whether you want to have Mexican food, Asian food, or other food for lunch, there are a lot of great places to go for delicious dishes. Some of the dishes that you can get include burgers, tacos, sandwiches, pitas, soup, quiches, and salads. At some of the restaurants, you can also get delicious vegetarian and vegan food, such as veggie burgers and vegan sandwiches.

Village Tavern is a restaurant that dates back to the year 1984. The restaurant focuses on the four core principles of being a great place to work, delivering great food, offering great service, and offering great value.

There are several locations of Village Tavern in North Carolina and in other states. Two of these locations are in Winston-Salem.

The lunch menu of Village Tavern includes a lot of dishes, including quesadillas, salads, soups, entrees, pizzas, tacos, burgers, and much more.

One of the best dishes to get for lunch is the “Pimiento Cheese Bacon Burger”, which comes with Irish Kerrygold Dubliner pimiento cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, caramelized onions, and mayonnaise.

The “Tavern Pizza”, which is a pizza with homemade tomato sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, hamburger, Mozzarella, and onions, is a delicious item to get for lunch as well.

Yamas Mediterranean Street Food is a restaurant where you can get modern Mediterranean food for lunch in Winston-Salem.

At the restaurant, you can get delicious sandwiches, salad bowls, and grain bowls. You can build a meal by choosing the dips and spreads you like, choosing a protein, choosing toppings, and picking a sauce.

The restaurant also has great vegetarian and vegan options. For example, one of the vegan proteins that you can choose is the “falafel fritter”, which is made with chickpeas and herbs. There are also many vegan toppings to add.

In addition to sandwiches, grain bowls, and salad bowls, you can also get fries, sweets, and other food at Yamas Mediterranean Street Food.

There’s also a kids menu.

Sir Winston, a restaurant that was named in honor of Winston Churchill, is a place where you can get food from North Carolina with a European twist. The restaurant applies the farm-to-table philosophy and you can get delicious food for lunch at Sir Winston.

The original “Sir Winston” restaurant was founded in 1967, but the restaurant was reestablished in 2018.

Lunch is available every day of the week from 10:30 AM to 2 PM.

The lunch menu includes great starters and entrees.

A delicious starter is the “Southern Quesadilla”, which is a quesadilla made with smoked pulled pork, cheddar cheese, pico de Gallo, and other ingredients. The “French Onion Soup”, which is made from scratch and topped with baguette and provolone cheese, is a great starter too.

You can get delicious entrees. One of these is the “Sir Winston Deluxe Burger”. This is a burger with an 8oz beef patty, pickle, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, and mayo.

West End Café

West End Café is a restaurant that is located on West 4th Street. The restaurant was established in 1980 and is a great place to have lunch.

The all-day lunch menu includes lots of different food items.

For example, there are many salads, such as the “Classic Spinach Salad”, which comes with spinach, bacon, mushroom, onion, black olives, egg, and croutons, and the “Black & Bleu Steak Salad”, which includes blackened steak, blue cheese crumbles, and other ingredients.

West End Café is also one of the best places for burgers in Winston-Salem and you can get a great burger here for lunch as well. One of the best burgers is the “Carolina Burger” and there are also delicious veggie burgers.

In addition to that, you can also get a variety of delicious sandwiches, pitas, and other types of food at this restaurant.

Alma Mexicana is also a great lunch spot in Winston-Salem. It’s a restaurant that is located in the Innovation Quarter of Winston-Salem. At the restaurant, you can get delicious Tex-Mex food and drinks. The restaurant has an outdoor patio as well as a heated patio and indoor seating area.

The lunch menu includes lots of different dishes, including tacos, rice bowls, salads, and much more.

One of the best taco dishes is the “Las Cosechas Tacos” dish, which comes with chipotle-roasted cauliflower, avocado verde, pickled red cabbage, and other ingredients.

The “Cha Cha Chicken Quesadilla'”, which is a quesadilla with spicy fried chicken, roasted corn, Monterey jack cheese, and other ingredients is a great lunch option too.

Besides great Mexican food, you can also get Mexican drinks at Alma Mexicana, such as various types of margaritas and wines.

Midtown Cafe & Dessertery, is a cafe where you can get delicious savory dishes and Southern desserts, made with high-quality desserts.

There are lots of options for lunch, including cold sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and other types of dishes.

The wraps of Midtown Cafe & Dessertery are served on a tomato basil wrap and with a choice of fries, potato chips, cole slaw, fresh fruit, or a pesto pasta salad.

One of the best wraps to get for lunch is the “Veggie Wrap”, which is a wrap that comes with baby spinach, marinated cucumbers, carrots, and other ingredients.

The “Black Jack Burger” is a great lunch dish as well. This is a burger with creole mayonnaise, Cajun spices, red onions, provolone cheese, and other ingredients.

Camino Bakery is a community-focused bakery and coffeehouse with three locations in Winston-Salem where you can get delicious handmade food and drinks. One of the locations is on West 4th Street.

You can get a variety of bread options at Camino Bakery, and Camino Bakery also has a lunch menu with delicious options.

For example, you can get different types of quiches, focaccia, sandwiches, and salads.

One of the best quiches is a French onion quiche with shiitake mushrooms, and the focaccia with mushroom, onion, and kale pesto is great too.

Sweet Potatoes

Sweet Potatoes is one of the best lunch spots in Winston-Salem that you can find at 607 North Trade Street. The restaurant is open for lunch from Thursday through Saturday.

Sweet Potatoes focuses on unique and Southern-inspired food.

The lunch menu includes great starters, such as fried chicken and waffles.

You can also get great wings, biscuits, salads, such as the House Salad which comes with mixed greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes, and other dishes for lunch here.

Sweet Potatoes’ lunch menu also includes various delicious handhelds.

For example, the “Sweet Potatoes Club” is a great sandwich with sliced turkey and ham, bacon, brie, tomato, cranberry mayo, and other ingredients.

The “Ultimate Veggie Burger”, which is a burger with a veggie patty, spinach, mushrooms, cheese, and house-made vegan mayo, is a great option for lunch too.

HakkaChow is a restaurant where you can get delicious dishes that are made with high-quality ingredients and that are influenced by many Asian cuisines, including Indian, Korean, and Chinese cuisines. The dishes are made from scratch, authentic, and modern.

The restaurant is open for lunch from Tuesday through Sunday.

HakkaChow’s lunch menu includes many different items. For example, you can get all kinds of delicious rolls, appetizers, and lunch specials.

One of the best lunch specials is the “L-Orange Peel”, which is a dish with beef or lightly battered chicken breast in a chili orange sauce that is topped with orange zest and served with broccoli.
